Drew Goodmanson

Drew Goodmanson serves as CEO of MonkDev, creators of Ekklesia 360 used by thousands of organizations worldwide. Drew co-founded Kaleo Church where he served as pastor for more than 8 years and coached five new church plants in San Diego. Drew is a co-founder and board member of the GCM Collective, president of the board at the Center for Church Communication, board member of the Entreprteeneurship Organization and Internet/technology advisory chair at the Christian Leadership Alliance. He brings more than 16 years of visioning, creating and building organizations that make a substantial impact. He's spoken at numerous national conferences, written for several magazines and appeared on shows such as CBS Sunday Morning and NPR's All Things Considered, discussing organizational leadership and the intersection of culture and technology. Drew will be presenting a keynote session, along with Dave Bourgeois, on the “State of Digital Ministry”.

Matt Perman

Matt Perman is the former Director of Strategy at Desiring God. While there, he led the design and launch of the new Desiring God website release in 2006.Matt blogs on productivity, leadership, theology, and culture at What's Best Next. He is currently writing a book entitled: What's Best Next: How the Gospel Changes the Way You Get Things Done, which is due to be published in September 2012. Matt has spoken in many venues, including seminars at churches, T4G, the Desiring God National Conference, and the 2011 Christian Web Conference. Matt will be leading a breakout session in the “theology” track.

Brett McCracken

Brett McCracken is Social Media Manager at Biola University, overseeing the university's official Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube accounts. He's the author of the book Hipster Christianity: When Church & Cool Collide (Baker, 2010), and has written about social media in publications like Relevant, Christianity Today, Mediascape, The Wall Street Journal and The Princeton Theological Review. John Mark Reynolds

John Mark Reynolds (Ph.D., University of Rochester) is founder and director of the Torrey Honors Institute, a great books program, and professor of philosophy at Biola University. In 2005, Dr. Reynolds started the GodBlogCon conference, which has now become the Biola Digital Ministry Conference. Dr. Reynolds lectures frequently on ancient philosophy, philosophy of science, home schooling and cultural trends. He regularly appears on radio talk shows, such as the Hugh Hewitt Show, and actively blogs on cultural issues at ScriptorumDaily.com and the Washington Post's "On Faith" column. His books include The New Media Frontier (co-edited with Roger Overton) and the recently released Great Books Reader: Excerpts and Essays on the Most Influential Books in Western Civilization.

Chad Williams

Chad Williams, CEO of Five Q, has been involved in with the Internet since 1995. His passion is to deliver results. Chad's pioneering vision became clear as he grew a major media ministry's web presence to yield millions of views and significant revenue for the organization...becoming their first Chief Technology Officer. His company now provides a full suite of Web Development and Interactive Marketing services for dozens of ministry and non-profit organizations, including Revive Our Hearts, Bible League International, Joni & Friends, The Moody Church, Truth For Life and The Bowery Mission, among many others. Chad will be leading a breakout session in the strategy track.

John Edmiston

John Edmiston is the CEO of Cybermissions and is one of the pioneers in this area having been in Internet ministry since 1991. He has numerous websites and focuses on producing training for pastors and leaders in the developing world. John Edmiston has also been a missionary in South-East Asia and a pastor. John and his wife Minda now live in Southern California. John will be leading a breakout session in the technology track.

Antoine Wright

Antoine RJ Wright (@arjwright) is a mentor, futurist, mobile technology enthusiast, and student of the histories of marginalized cultures. He has participated in developing innovative approaches in web/graphic design, user experience design, and accessibility across mobile and other computing devices. The primary voice behind Mobile Ministry Magazine (MMM, mobileministrymagazine.com, @mobileminmag), Antoine is pioneering an approach to understanding mobile devices, social web services, and their resulting effects within faith-based communities. When not engaged in books or devices, Antoine can be found connecting with various artistic communities and bicycling throughout the US East Coast. Antoine will be leading a breakout session in the technology track.

Dave Bourgeois

Dave is Director of Innovation for the Crowell School of Business at Biola University, where he works with the school to develop strategies for using digital tools to better prepare their graduates to impact the world for Christ in the business community. Dave has a passion for using technology for ministry and has been doing research, writing, teaching, and speaking in this area for many years. He is currently working with Intervarsity Press on a forthcoming book on digital strategy for ministries. Dave will be leading a breakout session in the strategy track and will be presenting a keynote session, along with Drew Goodmanson, on the “State of Digital Ministry”.

Joanne Jung

Joanne Jung has a heart for students and is a pioneer in building community in her online classes at Biola University. Her passion to grow her students in their knowledge of the Bible is surpassed only by seeing that knowledge transform their lives into Christ's likeness. Dr. Jung's interests lie in hermeneutics and spiritual formation. Her research of the English Puritans, specifically their spiritual practices and community, continues to fuel Dr. Jung's passion to nurture her students' growth in their knowledge of the Bible and seeing that knowledge impact their spiritual transformation. This passion to see others grow in Christ extends beyond her students, serving those within her local church and community. Her two books, Knowing Grace: Cultivating a Lifestyle of Godliness and Godly Conversation: rediscovering the Puritan practice of conference were released in 2011. Joanne will be leading a breakout session in the theology track.

Dustin Steeve

Dustin is the CEO of the Delight Group (@DelightGroup), a start-up which specializes in application development for small businesses and individuals. A graduate of Biola University and the Torrey Honors Institute, Dustin has worked as a creative director, project manager, and social media marketer for six years. Past projects include art direction and content management of two top Christian blogs - the Scriptorium Daily and the Evangelical Outpost - in addition to development and management of corporate web identities for the luxury real estate company Fitzpatrick & Prince and the high-tech escrow firm, Lighthouse Escrow. Clyde Taber

Clyde is the director and co-founder of the Visual Story Network (VisualStoryNetwork.org), a coalition of 150 organizations and 1000 media missionaries working to expand a global movement of visual story so everyone has the opportunity to encounter Jesus and His kingdom. From 2000 – 2006 he developed new media for the JESUS Film Project including “Magdalena: Released from Shame,” the Damah Film Festival, and "JESUS: Fact or Fiction?” Prior to this he directed the campus ministry in Paris, France and coordinated the campus work of Campus Crusade for Christ throughout North Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia. Clyde's wife Shirin is a mother, teacher, and writer (Muslims Next Door, Wanting All the Right Things). Clyde and Shirin are the parents of Quinn, Elena, and Sage. They reside in Foothill Ranch, California.

Brian Chan

Brian Chan, Chief Software Architect and founder, created Liferay Portal in 2000 to provide non-profit organizations with an open source solution to facilitate collaboration on the Internet. He has since steered Liferay to become a worldwide leader in innovative open source enterprise solutions. With a strong foundation in software architecture and economics, Brian has solidified open source as a viable and high performance option for the enterprise with business benefits beyond cost savings.

Matthew Weathers

Matthew Weathers is Biola's Applied Instructional Technology Administrator in the Distance Learning Department. He also teaches part-time for the Math Department. His interests in information usability, technology, and internet cultural trends drive his curiosity and experimentation in how to use technology for better education and to engage students in meaningful ways. A couple of Matthew's fun videos he does for class have gone viral on YouTube.

Brent Dusing

Brent Dusing is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Lightside Games. Brent founded Lightside Games out of his passion to produce high-quality, Biblically authentic games. Prior to Lightside Games, Brent was the Founder and CEO of Cellfire, the nation's leading mobile coupon company. Brent has a bachelors cum laude in Economics from Harvard University. Brent believes God reveals his Truth to us in the Holy Bible and he's excited about sharing the Bible's message on the world's largest technology platforms.

John Dyer

John Dyer writes JavaScript by day and reads theology by night. He has one the shortest legally allowed domain names (http://j.hn/) balanced by one of the longest job titles, Executive Director of Communications and Educational Technology, a position he recently took at Dallas Theological Seminary. His coding resume includes creating tools for Apple, Microsoft, Revision3, and a Bible society that distributes digital bibles in closed countries. His first book is From the Garden to the City: The Redeeming and Corrupting Power of Technology.
